About the role
- Senior Analyst of Public Policies developing policies for small businesses in Brazil. Engaging with government institutions and monitoring legislative impacts for public policies.
Responsibilities
- Propose the state-level strategy for the public policy area's projects;
- Provide technical support to managers and regional coordinators in implementing the strategy;
- Coordinate state-level projects in the area;
- Liaise with business associations, the Legislative Assembly, oversight bodies and the State Government;
- Monitor legislation and regulations at state and national levels;
- Conduct technical studies assessing the impact of legislation;
- Manage contracts and partnership agreements signed with partners;
- Propose, plan and organize events, meetings and seminars.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Law or Economics.
- Postgraduate degree in Public Law, Public Policy, Public Management or Local Development (desirable).
- Solid experience in:
- • Analysis of legislation and regulatory impacts;
- • Liaison with public agencies and governmental institutions;
- • Management of convênios (partnership agreements) and institutional partnerships.
- Specific knowledge:
- • Complementary Law 123/2006;
- • Law 13.874/2019;
- • Law 14.133/2021;
- • Management and execution of convênios (agreements/grants);
- • Public policies for economic development;
- • Socioeconomic indicators.
- Driver's license (minimum category B).
