About the role

  • Manage full project lifecycles — from scope and planning to delivery, acceptance, and handover — across IT infrastructure, networking, and digital transformation programmes.
  • Ensure projects meet scope, budget, quality, and timeline commitments, applying Roc’s PMO governance and industry best practices (Prince2, Agile, ITIL).
  • Build trust and alignment with C-level executives, customers, and delivery teams.
  • Provide clear, evidence-based reporting, turning data into actionable insight for decision-making.
  • Manage multi-million-pound budgets, ensuring profitability and protecting margins.
  • Handle contract negotiations, supplier management, and change control with commercial sharpness.
  • Inspire cross-functional teams to perform at their best, fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation plans before they impact delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven track record delivering complex, multi-workstream IT projects in enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and security technologies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills across all organisational levels.
  • Financial and commercial acumen — able to manage budgets and protect profitability.
