Senior Project Manager responsible for managing complex B2B software projects. Leading cross-functional teams while driving strategic initiatives alongside executive stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Responsible management of strategic projects with high complexity and market relevance
Lead and coordinate interdisciplinary project teams — bringing together diverse expertise to ensure optimal collaboration
Create and maintain project plans and roadmaps, including prioritization of milestones and work packages
Stakeholder management at all levels: close alignment with executive management, business units, and external partners
Monitor project progress and project controlling with KPI-based governance (e.g., OKR methodology) within the project triangle (scope, time, cost)
Quality assurance in projects and continuous improvement of project workflows
Coordinate project activities across the entire project lifecycle — from conception to successful handover
Strategic reporting and confident presentation in steering committees and to management
Change and conflict management during the rollout of new solutions and in challenging situations
Requirements
University degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
At least 5 years of professional experience in independently managing complex projects
Demonstrable experience in market-oriented management of product/development projects — you think from the customer’s perspective
Experience in the B2B software environment, ideally IT consulting, system integration, or vendor of digital enterprise solutions
Excellent communication skills: able to convey complex issues appropriately for the audience and interact confidently with diverse stakeholders
Strong results orientation with experience in KPI-driven project management
Experience in implementing and optimizing development processes
Fluent German and English skills (at least C1 level) in both written and spoken form
