About the role

  • Project Manager overseeing automation and control system integration projects for Thermo Systems. Responsible for project execution from planning through commissioning in construction-driven environments.

Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager supports the successful delivery of automation and control system integration projects within construction-driven environments such as hyperscale data centers.
  • This role is responsible for coordinating project execution from early planning through commissioning and closeout.
  • The Project Manager works closely with engineering teams, subcontractors, field personnel, and customers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate daily subcontractor and trade partner activities on the project site.
  • Ensure field work aligns with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Promote and enforce safety policies and safe work practices on site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Typically 3-5 years of experience supporting or managing projects in construction, automation, or industrial environments
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, schedules, and project documentation on active job sites
  • Exposure to automation, control systems integration, or mission critical infrastructure environments is beneficial
  • PMP certification or progress toward certification is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and project scheduling software such as MS Project or Smartsheet
