About the role
- Senior Program Manager leading energy efficiency initiatives for clients across Canada. Overseeing program implementation, financial performance, and client engagement strategy with a collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of energy efficiency programs for clients across Canada
- Oversee a team of Program Managers and Operations staff responsible for all phases of program implementation
- Manage cost management, performance tracking, client/customer satisfaction, and strategic initiatives
- Support business development work and proposal responses
- Cultivate a collaborative team culture focused on achieving/exceeding annual targets established by clients
- Direct and coordinate multi-functional teams (10–30 people), including 4–7 direct reports
- Serve as an escalation point for clients, developing deep relationships at senior levels with client organizations
- Ensure accurate forecasting, tool development, and strategic initiatives in support of their portfolio
Requirements
- 10+ years of project/program management experience, preferably in energy efficiency or utility programs
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Experience managing large-scale programs, preferably in the Commercial & Industrial sector
- Experience managing P&L of at least $5M
- Excellent communication, client management, and leadership skills
- Ability to travel regularly (at least monthly) in Canada to the CLEAResult, Client office, or Customer Sites
- Bachelor’s degree required; MS or MBA preferred
