About the role
- Own the design journey from discovery to delivery, crafting bold, innovative solutions across products and platforms
- Create accessible, delightful, and visually compelling user experiences that meet human needs and deliver business results
- Collaborate with UXR experts to uncover insights, validate ideas, and use qualitative and quantitative research
- Contribute to and evolve the design system to ensure brand-consistent experiences
- Work side-by-side with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to turn complex challenges into user-centered solutions
- Rapidly prototype wireframes, interactive prototypes, and visual explorations to gather feedback and iterate
- Mentor teammates, share craft, and foster a culture of constructive feedback and continuous growth
- Be the voice of the user and guardian of design quality from concept to launch
- Initial 6-month goals: understand Wellpass product and EGYM ecosystem, build strong team connections, align with product vision, and take responsibility for design thinking within the team organization
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI design, or a related field
- Strong portfolio showcasing interaction design, visual design, and systems thinking across web, mobile and other platforms
- Proficient in design tools like Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite or similar
- Hands-on experience conducting and applying insights from user research (qualitative and quantitative)
- Strategic problem-solving skills and ability to simplify complex design challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Degree in Design, HCI, or related field preferred
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German or French is a great plus
- Based in Munich, Berlin, or Paris (open for occasional travel)
