About the role
- Co-op in Product Design supporting digital strategy at Manulife. Collaborating with designers and product teams to enhance digital experiences and maintain design system documentation.
Responsibilities
- Work with senior designers to develop new components and improve existing ones by ensuring they are flexible, consistent, and accessible.
- Maintain the design system's documentation by updating guidelines, naming conventions, and best practices.
- Act as a point of contact for questions from other product teams regarding the design system.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree or undergraduate degree in Marketing, Economics, Business, Science, Social Studies or related discipline.
- General business level understanding of digital technologies, including web development, digital marketing, and software development.
- Some knowledge of organizational transformation / change management and Agile methodologies is an asset.
- Possess skills to communicate and take lead initiatives within a team.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic, ever-changing work environment.
- Excellent communication and ability to implement tactics consistent with business objectives.
