About the role
- Senior Policy Analyst supporting US Space Force Mission Assurance strategies with Risk Mitigation Consulting. Providing policy expertise and engaging stakeholders to align with objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support the US Space Force (USSF) Mission Assurance (MA) Program Office and provide policy and strategic communications expertise.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to military and government members, ensuring alignment with organizational policy, strategy, goals, and objectives.
- Review and develop SpMA response for DoD, Joint Staff, departmental, service, and CCMD publications.
- Research and develop a service-level instruction for SpMA activities.
- Create detailed how-to guides for the SpMA framework and methodologies.
- Conduct strategic messaging campaigns by engaging key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Seven years DoD experience with knowledge and understanding of military organization and structure, including DoD, Joint Staff, CCMDs, and services.
- Preferably knowledge and understanding of USSPACECOM, and USSF.
- Experience reviewing, integrating, and writing policy.
- Experience preparing and delivering briefings to senior leadership.
- Completion of Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I or comparable Service-level professional development a plus
- Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain a DoD TS-SCI Clearance.
- Valid Passport: Possession of a current passport with a minimum of 8 months remaining until expiration.
