About the role

  • Oversee the full payroll cycle, including processing payroll, managing schedules, and handling payroll-related queries.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor payroll staff, providing training and supporting professional development.
  • Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure smooth integration of payroll data.
  • Manage administrative functions, including general HR support and employee services.
  • Prepare and analyze payroll reports, presenting findings to senior management.
  • Lead audits of payroll data and processes, addressing discrepancies and implementing improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll and administration, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
