Responsibilities
- Work in cooperation with contractors, client staff, and state agencies.
- Install and configure microcomputers, servers, storage devices, printers, scanners, and network equipment.
- Deploy new state-procured equipment and software to the existing network.
- Create/restore workstation images.
- Troubleshoot workstation network connectivity issues and hardware/software problems.
- Provide expert technical advice and guidance.
Requirements
- Nine (9) years of experience in a computer-related field.
- Seven (7) years of progressive experience in planning, designing, implementing, and analyzing data or telecommunications networks.
- Must have experience with network analysis/management tools and techniques.
- Must be familiar with Personal Computers (PCs) in a client/server environment.
- Must be familiar with IT technology and long-distance and local carrier management.
