About the role

• Senior Mobile Engineer responsible for iOS development and team mentoring within Auctane's diverse software ecosystem. Focusing on architecting scalable software solutions and guiding junior engineers in best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design system architectures and develop complex software components while considering both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create high-quality software code in accordance with industry best practices and standards.
• Manage software testing processes, identifying and resolving issues, and optimizing system performance and scalability.
• Deliver cloud-oriented API-based components and microservices adhering to the highest engineering standards.
• Mentor junior team members by providing technical support, guidance, and sharing knowledge and experience to facilitate their professional growth.
• Influence team direction and task prioritization.
• Tackle complex problems requiring deep analysis and evaluation of diverse factors.
• Collaborate closely with other departments, such as product teams, and management, to ensure solution consistency and compliance.
• Engage in effective cooperation with team members.
• Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Inspire and facilitate constructive discussions around complex topics.
• Provide timely, concise, and actionable feedback to team colleagues.
• Promote a knowledge-sharing mindset.
• Participate in recruitment interviews for your team.

Requirements

• Experience with mobile application development for iOS
• Experience in designing and developing advanced software systems.
• Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
• Continuous focus on enhancing skills in software architecture design and product development.
• Strong orientation toward task automation to save time and effort.
• Implementation of improvements and optimizations in daily operations.
• Planning and managing complex multi-system deployments without impacting client operations.
• Ability to balance the demands of delivering high-quality software within tight deadlines.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge and experience in use of design patterns
• Proficient in English at a communicative level.
