About the role

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of clinical trials for cell therapy in Type 1 Diabetes
- Develop and refine clinical development plans
- Contribute to regulatory submissions
- Serve as medical monitor for clinical trials
- Build strong relationships with clinical trial sites
- Collaborate with internal functional groups
- Apply creative thinking to solve complex clinical and operational challenges
- Mentor junior clinical team members

Requirements
- MD, MD/PhD, or MD with another advanced degree (eg MPH) with board certification in Endocrinology or Immunology
- Clinical and/or Clinical Research experience working with patients with Type 1 Diabetes
- 5+ years of industry experience in clinical development
- Demonstrated experience in early- to mid-stage clinical trials
- Strong strategic and tactical thinking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to be hands-on and detail-oriented
