Manage and mentor a team of Product Managers focused on Mercari’s products and services
Define the vision and roadmap for the GCC’s product function, aligning with Mercari’s global strategy
Lead execution across multiple cross-functional teams including engineering, design, operations, and data
Drive structured prioritization frameworks to balance efficiency gains with user satisfaction
Partner with senior stakeholders to continuously identify areas of impact and growth for GCC
Establish clear goals, KPIs, and execution plans across initiatives
Support hiring, onboarding, and capability development for the growing PM function
Build the GCC product development and governance practices from the ground up while maintaining delivery velocity
Lay the foundations of a scalable product team and governance model with the aim to support Mecari’s future growth
Navigate ambiguity and complex operational environments to identify high-leverage product bets
Work across time zones, cultures, and languages to deliver a consistent customer experience at scale
Transition from a player-coach role into eventual full ownership of the GCC Product function
Requirements
Strong alignment with Mercari’s mission and values
13 + years of total experience, with at least 5 years in product management
5 + year of people management experience or significant informal mentorship responsibility
Proven track record of shipping complex C2C, B2C or internal-facing products in fast-paced environments
Experience working closely with engineering, design, and operations teams
Solid understanding of agile methodologies and iterative product delivery
Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills in a matrixed environment
