About the role

  • Support and where appropriate lead project teams delivering specific climate finance tracking workstream products and review products.
  • Bring a strongly collaborative and effective team engagement style to Tracking program management.
  • Contribute to strategic direction of the Tracking workstream overall.
  • Support and lead Tracking fundraising / business development activities.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, International Development/Affairs, Public Policy, Environmental, or Physical Sciences or another relevant field.
  • Substantial professional experience – 12-15 years (at a credible senior level) in climate and/or nature finance, including in research institutions, think tanks, major consulting firms, or other relevant organizations.
  • In-depth understanding of the tracking challenges in the face of climate change and nature degradation.
  • Experience working with actors across the public and private sectors on climate issues.
  • Expertise on international climate finance mechanisms and policy frameworks is desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of political and economic contexts in developing and emerging economies.
  • Demonstrated program and project management skills.
  • Written and spoken fluency in English is required.
  • Working knowledge of a second language is an advantage.
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders, develop and maintain relationships in the agrifood and climate finance sector.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
