About the role

Responsibilities

- Contribute to strategic direction of the Tracking workstream overall.
- Support and lead Tracking fundraising / business development activities.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, International Development/Affairs, Public Policy, Environmental, or Physical Sciences or another relevant field.
- Substantial professional experience – 12-15 years (at a credible senior level) in climate and/or nature finance, including in research institutions, think tanks, major consulting firms, or other relevant organizations.
- In-depth understanding of the tracking challenges in the face of climate change and nature degradation.
- Experience working with actors across the public and private sectors on climate issues.
- Expertise on international climate finance mechanisms and policy frameworks is desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of political and economic contexts in developing and emerging economies.
- Demonstrated program and project management skills.
- Written and spoken fluency in English is required.
- Working knowledge of a second language is an advantage.
- Advanced user of MS Office suite.
- Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders, develop and maintain relationships in the agrifood and climate finance sector.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
