Lead the team responsible for the overall strategic technology roadmap for major applications used in the planning, design, development and marketing of Brooks’ products, including Product Information Management (PIM) and Product Lifecycle Management (FlexPLM).
Manage the overall technology relationship with vendor partners, identify and ensure enhancements are delivered successfully and ensure production service levels are met.
Build and grow business partnerships to represent the technological relationship with Apparel and Footwear teams.
People Leadership: Lead, mentor and coach a team who manage Brooks’ product applications; hire, develop, and manage performance; architect organization model; create a service-oriented, highly collaborative culture.
Technology Leadership: Define technology roadmap; own lifecycle including planning, design, implementation, testing, support and enhancement; collaborate with business leaders to understand requirements, costs and timelines; manage intake, acceptance criteria and prioritization; manage teamwork assignments and timelines; ensure system gaps are addressed and root causes resolved.
Vendor & Security: Manage relationships with technology vendors; work with Legal and Information Security during procurement; collaborate with Information Security to ensure applications are secured and compliant with PCI and GDPR.
Procurement & Compliance: Make recommendations for purchase of technology resources, review and negotiate contracts, ensure vendor performance; ensure applications adhere to internal and external compliance standards; maintain documentation including functional and technical specifications and SOPs.
Budget Management: Manage operational and capital budgets and reforecasts for your area; operate to planned budget and contribute to overall IT budget; learn Brooks requirements around budget planning and capex documentation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant major.
10+ years of relevant experience implementing, configuring/customizing and maintaining IT applications.
5+ years of proven success leading and mentoring a team of individuals in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
Preferred: Experience with Product Lifecycle Management technology and technology used for design, engineering and research and development.
Strategic thinking and planning capability.
A high degree of analytic capability and inductive thinking to solve complex technical problems.
Experience defining business requirements and evaluating technical/process solutions.
Experience working in a global environment with colleagues from different cultures and backgrounds.
Comfortable working within Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid development methodologies.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, facilitation and negotiation skills.
Certifications in Project Management, Agile, and ITIL a plus.
Ability to understand and empathize with the runner to develop loyal, engaging relationships with our customers and the Brooks community.

The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $142,253 - $227,605 per year.
