Responsibilities
- Lead inventory planning across Equinix’s global data center infrastructure equipment
- Own end-to-end inventory planning for major capital equipment and supporting infrastructure
- Develop and maintain inventory strategies that align with capacity plans and business growth objectives
- Forecast inventory requirements based on demand signals and historical consumption trends
- Partner with teams to ensure timely and cost-effective inventory availability
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Procurement teams on inventory plans
- Define and implement inventory planning processes to drive operational efficiency
- Monitor inventory levels across regions and identify risks
- Analyze usage patterns and vendor performance to improve forecasting accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience
- Proven experience in inventory planning, preferably in infrastructure, hardware, or data center environments
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in planning tools, ERP systems, and data visualization platforms
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management abilities
