About the role
- Provide strategic legal advice and act as a trusted business partner across the Group, with particular focus on corporate matters and complex commercial contracts
- Advise on and manage corporate projects including joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, financing and investment arrangements, corporate governance, and group-wide processes
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts including master service agreements, sales agreements, framework agreements, SaaS contracts, licensing, merchant agreements, and goods/services arrangements
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and business leaders across the contracting lifecycle from RFIs and RFPs through to ongoing management, renewals, and dispute resolution
- Provide specialist support to the Travel Experiences team, including negotiations with card networks, airport lounges, and direct customers
- Provide pragmatic advice on commercial and operational matters including compliance, procurement, data protection, litigation, employment law, and internal policies
- Contribute to knowledge management by developing precedent templates, practical guidance, and delivering internal training to the business
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with 6+ years’ PQE gained in a global in-house role and/or in a leading law firm
- Significant experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex English law based corporate and commercial contracts independently
- Strong track record advising on corporate matters such as M&A, joint ventures, and financing arrangements
- Excellent commercial awareness with ability to balance legal risk and business objectives
- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders, including board-level executives, on high-value and strategic matters
- Strong organisational, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Collaborative, solutions-driven, comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment
- A proactive, resilient, and positive mindset, with a sense of humour and a team-first approach
