About the role

  • Scan the hospital environment for new business opportunities for hospital consumed HUL brands
  • Identify opportunities in different types of hospitals by evaluating risks, formulating action plans, implementing key strategies & monitoring effective deployment
  • Support Regional Hospital Sales Manager in rolling out key marketing interventions targeted at HCPs and other stakeholders
  • Establish the distribution structure in the covered geography in coordination with Regional Hospital Sales Manager
  • Implement strategy for new and existing market/business opportunities and execute marketing programs (new product introductions, increased penetration, conversions)
  • Develop and maintain contact with key opinion leaders and other stakeholders through direct contact programs
  • Conduct external educational and awareness programs to build long-term customer loyalty and equity for HUL
  • Generate, maintain and utilize customer database for promotional use
  • Coordinate with hospitals and distributors to generate and execute orders on time and settle claims
  • Constantly identify new business opportunities in hospitals and accounts with better realization and revenue scope
  • Monitor and report: adhere to commercial/compliance guidelines, track competitor activity and industry trends, track customer feedback and escalate quality concerns
  • Liaise internally with cross-functional sales teams and externally with opinion makers to obtain and utilize resources to achieve goals

Requirements

  • Bachelors Or Master’s Degree in Science
  • 2-3 years experience
  • Experience managing internal and external customers (Zonal Hospital Sales Manager, Regional Hospital Sales Manager, BDE, KDE/ASE/ASM, wholesalers, distributors, chemists, HCPs, purchase managers, hospital CEOs)
  • Key account management and sales in hospital settings
  • Ability to identify business opportunities, evaluate risks, formulate action plans and implement strategies
  • Experience liaising with hospital purchase departments, pharmacy, and administrators
  • Adherence to commercial/compliance and reporting guidelines
  • Ability to track competitor activity and customer feedback
