About the role
- Senior Electrical Engineer leading design of high-voltage measurement solutions at Emerson Innovation Center in Pune. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative products.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of mixed-signal electronics for products such as voltmeters, phasing tools, voltage detectors, and dielectric testers including embedded electronics.
- Define, plan, and coordinate product development, qualification, safety, and regulatory compliance testing.
- Conduct concept feasibility studies and technical risk evaluations for new products.
- Evaluate new and emerging technologies and recommend adoption for future designs.
- Ensure smooth transition to production by creating test specifications, supporting design for manufacturability, and collaborating with suppliers.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring for junior engineers, including hands-on problem solving, debugging, and design reviews.
- Support field investigations and resolve manufacturing or supply chain issues throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in electrical / electronics engineering or a related field.
- Minimum experience of 7+ years for Bachelor’s OR 5+ years for Master’s degree in field of electronics design.
- Strong proficiency in mixed-signal circuit design and PCBA layout.
- Experience with test equipment and measurement techniques.
