About the role

Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new functions to further optimize energy usage in TRATON’s trucks and buses
- Implement and validate new ideas through testing in vehicles and simulation environments
- Conduct vehicle tests both in real-world and simulated conditions
- Take ownership of the full development cycle — from implementation and documentation to test development and evaluation
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded development or other relevant work in the automotive industry
- strong interest in the automotive industry and energy optimization functions
- Master’s or PhD degree in a relevant engineering field
- experience in embedded software development, preferably using MATLAB, Simulink and C
- skills in simulation and data analysis
- at least a driver’s license for passenger cars
