About the role
- Provide database administration support for legal accounts and company portfolio
- Manage and optimize Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022 instances
- Design and create tables, indexes, stored procedures, SQL reports, and maintenance jobs
- Create and maintain databases in clustered server environments and design data models
- Integrate solutions with legacy infrastructure using data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts
- Implement high availability, mirroring, log shipping, backup and recovery strategies
- Facilitate cloud migrations and upgrade SQL Server environments
- Setup reporting servers and develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Requirements
- Manage Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and 2022 (security, tables, indexes, stored procedures, maintenance jobs)
- Apply best practices for optimizing databases
- Create and maintain databases in a Clustered Server environment
- Expert knowledge of design, development and maintenance of various data models
- Working knowledge of data lakes, data warehouse and data mart architectures, metadata and data modeling
- Experience with data flow, entity relationship diagrams, schema architectures and query languages
- Implement mirroring, log shipping, redundancy, high availability, backup and recovery for SQL Server 2019/2022
- Facilitate migration of systems into cloud infrastructure
- Upgrade SQL Servers from lower versions to 2019+ and create reports using SSRS
- Setup reporting server and perform report development and all DBA functions
- Top Secret clearance (Top Secret Clearance Required)
