About the role
- Design and deliver advanced CCTV and Access Control systems, including new builds and system upgrades
- Support sales teams with technical input and conduct site surveys
- Participate in system acceptance testing
- Produce detailed schematics, parts lists, specifications, schedules, and wiring/equipment layouts
- Perform technical calculations (e.g., network bandwidth, power, heat dissipation)
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Collaborate with commissioning engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless system setup (remotely, in-office, or on-site)
Requirements
- Proven experience in the Security industry, specifically with CCTV systems and Access Control
- Strong knowledge of IP and analogue CCTV components
- Knowledge of Access Control systems
- Knowledge of IP networking, copper, fibre, and wireless communications
- Knowledge of PC server/client architecture
- Familiarity with leading VMS and ACS platforms such as C-Cure, Lenel, Genetec, and Synergy
- Bonus: Experience with Intruder and BMS systems
- Bonus: Experience with legacy protocols (RS232, RS485)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible, self-motivated approach with ability to manage multiple projects
