• Senior Data Scientist for Chowdeck, designing and deploying machine learning models to optimize delivery operations and enhance customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models across forecasting, optimization, personalization, and risk detection.
• Identify and frame high-impact opportunities where data science can transform customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Conduct competitive intelligence analysis to drive actionable business insights.
• Develop data-driven approaches to pricing, incentives, and promotion algorithms that balance growth with profitability.
• Partner with stakeholders across Product, Operations, and Engineering to translate business challenges into analytical solutions.
• Design and manage experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, causal inference) to validate strategic initiatives.
• Build robust data pipelines and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure scalable, reliable model deployment.
• Create and maintain frameworks to track and improve key business metrics.
• Maintain high data quality standards and ensure integrity across all analyses and systems.
• Mentor and coach junior data scientists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
• Communicate complex insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders, driving alignment and action across teams.

Requirements

• Have 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, with proven expertise in applied machine learning.
• Are highly skilled in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow).
• Are proficient in SQL, spreadsheets, and big data tools.
• Have hands-on experience with experimentation, causal inference, and statistical modeling.
• Hold a strong foundation in statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Have a proven track record of building and deploying ML models in production environments.
• Communicate complex ideas clearly and can influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Enjoy solving ambiguous, complex problems.
• Bring experience or deep curiosity about logistics, e-commerce, marketplaces, or food delivery.
