About the role
- (Senior) Data Engineer responsible for solutions-designs, development, deployment, and operation of microservices and batches in GO and Python. Working in a modern office in Hannover with flexible working options.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and operating microservices in Go
- Use Python for programming
- Use Apache Airflow and Spark
- Optimize business intelligence using Metabase
- Independently develop and support the definition of processes and data structures
- Analyze and document processes and workflows
- Support the establishment of processes, tools, and rituals
Requirements
- Responsible for solution design, development, deployment, and operation of microservices and batch jobs in Go and Python
- Familiar with Apache products (e.g., Airflow or Spark)
- Experience with Metabase and optimizing business intelligence
- Independently translate functional requirements into development tasks
- Analyze and resolve errors and incidents
- Programming skills in Go and Python
- Solid professional experience in agile software development (e.g., Kanban)
- Knowledge of big data analysis and visualizations
- Fluent German and good English skills
