About the role
- Data Consultant delivering BI insights for clients at Billigence. Supporting clients with analytics solutions and project management in a hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to deliver actionable, data-driven insights that address business and technology challenges.
- Design and implement BI and analytics solutions using tools such as Alteryx, Snowflake, AWS, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and more.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data pipelines.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across technical and business functions, from analysts to executives.
- Manage project activities such as planning, scope definition, issue tracking, and risk management.
- Lead or support end-user training and documentation to ensure successful adoption of solutions.
- Act as a bridge between business and IT, ensuring alignment and value delivery.
- Continuously learn new tools and techniques and share knowledge with the wider team.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong SQL skills; Python is a plus.
- Understanding of BI concepts, ETL processes, and data modelling.
- Experience with BI/visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI) and cloud platforms is an advantage.
- Exposure to management consulting or internal business processes is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
- Proactive, practical approach with a desire to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Team player with a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow.
