About the role
- Cyber Security Consultant supporting development of compliant products in automotive and medical technology sectors. Engaging in analysis, assessments, and coaching to implement effective security strategies.
Responsibilities
- Actively support the development of standards-compliant products across industries such as automotive and medical technology.
- Flexibly apply technical and interpersonal skills as a consultant, cyber security engineer, process developer, facilitator, or coach.
- Conduct gap analyses, reviews, assessments, and audits against normative requirements, best practices, and industry standards.
- Enable clients to develop cyber-security-critical products by designing and implementing cyber security strategies, processes, and policies.
- Support the FSQ Brand Leads in further developing the cyber security business strategy.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field.
- At least 5 years of solid professional experience in cyber security.
- Stay current with cyber security trends and market developments and integrate them innovatively into consulting services.
- Experience with cyber security methods and concepts such as threat modeling, encryption, and secure communication.
- Familiarity with at least one industry-relevant cyber security standard (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434 for automotive or IEC 81001-5-1 for medical devices) as well as general cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST.
- Business-fluent German and English (minimum C1 level in both languages).
- Willingness to travel occasionally and participate in client projects within Germany and abroad.
