About the role

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Deliver timely and organized onboarding for customers
  • Ensure customers see full value in Cloudflare products and advise on technical best practices via 1:many events and limited 1:1 engagements
  • Participate in a regional pool of CSMs and CSEs supporting customer needs
  • Create and deliver technical customer workshops and content
  • Provide proactive technical guidance across primary and secondary areas of expertise
  • Collaborate with Customer Support, Engineering, and other teams on technical escalations
  • Proactively identify opportunities for expansion and promote retention by capturing product gaps
  • Contribute to organizational knowledge-sharing through documentation, technical Q&A, and best-practice iteration

Requirements

  • Fluency in English is required
  • Additional languages such as Spanish, German, Russian are a plus
  • 5-8 years of prior post-sales customer relationship management
  • Deep understanding of internet protocols and layers (TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, HTTP)
  • Knowledge of reverse and forward proxies
  • Knowledge of security technologies (Firewalls, WAFs, Bot Management, Rate Limiting, (M)TLS, Zero Trust)
  • Knowledge of performance concepts (Speed, Latency, Caching, HTTP/2, TLSv1.3)
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
  • Ability to proactively identify and solve problems and build sustainable solutions
  • Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize competing demands
  • Technical curiosity and commitment to staying up to date with industry trends
