About the role
- Identify, monitor, and reduce cost leakage across the group and lead cost control initiatives
- Streamline closing, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting cycles to improve efficiency
- Enhance the speed, accuracy, and usability of financial data across the organization
- Strengthen compliance and internal control systems across group entities
- Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable reporting under IFRS and local GAAP
- Drive the use of AI, digital tools and ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA) to enhance finance operations
- Leverage automation and reporting tools to support performance steering
- Act as a financial steward supporting senior decision-makers and shaping the group finance function
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of experience in controlling within a group, holding, or multi-entity structure
- Business fluency in German and English
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or Business Administration (CIMA, CPA, ACCA, Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) a plus)
- Strong track record in cost control, budgeting, and performance reporting in complex environments
- Advanced skills in ERP systems, especially SAP S/4HANA
- Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus
- Proficient in IFRS and local GAAP reporting
- High integrity, ownership mindset, and collaborative cross-functional teamwork approach
