Requirements
Seven years of relevant experience, including three or more years working for a state Medicaid agency supporting policy initiatives or as a consultant to a state Medicaid agency.
Direct experience with Medicaid authorities such as state plan services, HCBS waivers, Medicaid program implementation, as well as federal compliance and reporting.
Experience analyzing regulations and sub-regulatory guidance to inform the direction of the Medicaid program along with managing projects and initiatives to implement program changes to comply with the regulation.
Experience managing workplans, timelines, and projects including deliverables, operational and administrative tasks, risk, and client communication.
Preferred: Experience developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
Preferred: Experience conducting training sessions for staff and interested parties on HCBS policies, procedures, and best practices.
Preferred: CMS Waiver Management System (WMS), Medicaid Model Data Lab (MMDL), and MACPro portals.
