About the role
- Work closely with customers to assess and solve technical and DevOps-related pain points
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle
- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to provision, configure, and manage cloud and on-premise infrastructure
- Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems to ensure reliability and performance
- Facilitate collaboration between development, operations, and other teams to align processes and ensure smooth delivery
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance throughout development and deployment
- Contribute to cloud-based, production-ready solutions and end-to-end project lifecycle from strategy to deployment
Requirements
- Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, physics or comparable
- Fluent in at least one programming language: Python, Go, Bash/Shell, Ruby
- Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
- Extensive experience with version control tools such as Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Extensive experience with infrastructure as code (IaC): Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
- Experience with major cloud providers such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus/Grafana, Splunk, Datadog
- Experience with agile development concepts like Scrum
- Excellent German skills, good English skills
- Willingness to travel if required by the project
