About the role
- Contracts & Procurement Senior Business Partner at IOSH responsible for drafting and managing contracts. Fostering collaboration and ensuring procurement service meets business needs in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, administer and give advice on a wide variety of supplier and customer contracts
- Foster collaborative working relationships cross-functionally with stakeholders from across the organisation
- Ensure the contracts and procurement service is responsive to business needs and proportionate to risk and spend
- Bring experience and new ideas to this developing function
Requirements
- A strong understanding of commercial contract law and contract management principles
- In depth knowledge and experience of defining and implementing procurement good practice
- Knowledge and experience of commercial and research contractual arrangements and documentation
- Knowledge and experience of contract management processes for both suppliers and customers
- Experience of leading a contract negotiation and drafting the contract documents with both customers and suppliers
- Experience of leading contract management meetings and performance managing providers
- Highly proficient in working with the Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven experience of working in a similar position
