About the role
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, providing analysis and documentation of business and system requirements for assigned initiatives and projects.
- Gather requirements through the entire delivery and operational lifecycle, including defining and managing scope, requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and prioritisation.
- Model business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Conduct data modelling and mapping to support detailed analysis and enable effective solution design.
- Identify risks, issues, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impacts.
- Validate systems, products, platforms and services against requirements, experience goals, metrics, and targets.
- Identify, analyse and engage a range of stakeholders to influence decisions, resolve problems, manage resolutions, and implement stakeholder engagement and communications plans.
- Simplify information and decipher technical jargon so it is easily understood by nontechnical audiences.
- Support and drive the testing and implementation of solutions.
- Facilitate business transitions and help establish change and improvements.
- Create and maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations and ensure business analysis deliverables are high quality and adhere to standards.
- Support and guide less experienced business analysts by providing advice, sharing best practices, and assisting in their skill development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent.
- 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in business analysis.
- Experience in the payments technology and the financial industry.
