About the role
- Senior Backend Developer using Golang for a cutting-edge IoT platform in a deep-tech startup. Engaging in AI analysis of industrial data and developing microservices on Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Work in an agile environment to build microservices and Kubernetes operators; curious about new technologies
- Implement new features for multiple applications and services in Golang and continuously maintain and update all projects
- Promote high-quality code and value good tests and test coverage; occasionally write or improve tools to further automate manual steps
- Actively contribute to decision-making on how we develop new features and participate in shaping the product roadmap
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related field
- Strong programming skills and solid knowledge of agile software development
- Previous experience working with Golang, testing and CI/CD, as well as other programming languages
- Openness to new technologies
- Excellent written and spoken English; German is a plus
- High level of commitment, initiative and enthusiasm for IT
- Bonus, but not required: familiarity with technologies such as Python, TypeScript, Docker/Kubernetes, end-to-end testing and Linux
