About the role
- Conduct financial and ESG audits ensuring compliance with CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy, and other reporting standards
- Develop expertise in sustainability frameworks, mapping dependencies, identifying bottlenecks, and escalating issues to clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG assurance into financial audits and provide strategic recommendations
- Assist non-audit clients in designing and implementing templates, policies, and controls for sustainability reporting
- Analyse ESG metrics such as carbon emissions, climate risks, and safety incidents and provide actionable insights
- Independently manage projects, create detailed reports, and present findings to clients
- Stay updated with latest research and developments in sustainability practices and drive innovation in client solutions
- Embrace change and demonstrate resilience in adapting to new frameworks, technologies, and client needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field
- Background in financial auditing (experience in ESG assurance is a plus)
- Proficiency in English (knowledge of other languages is an advantage)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace ongoing learning
- Progress in ACCA or other internationally recognized certifications is an advantage
