About the role

  • Senior Analyst contributing to financial performance in Pharmacy Benefit Management at CVS Health. Conducting analyses and collaborating across teams to drive solutions and enhance client financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting financial variance analysis and identifying issues in order drive towards margin enhancing solutions
  • Work with pharmacy claim data to understand root causes of specific client issues
  • Access and manipulate large datasets using Excel, SQL(SAS/Teradata) and similar tools
  • Support complex projects related to a wide variety of financial, utilization, and operational business needs
  • Assist in coordinate efforts across company teams that can include Specialty, Retail, Clinical Ops, IT/TI, Product Development, Finance FP&A, Trade and account management to identify and implementation of solutions

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in financial analysis, analytics or variance analysis
  • PBM or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel-based modeling
  • SQL/GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
  • Code writing
  • Degree related to finance, mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, economics or other finance related fields preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
