About the role

• Senior AI Architect designing and implementing complex AI infrastructures for DACH companies. Focused on Azure and hybrid architectures with an emphasis on secure and effective AI deployment.

Responsibilities

• Do you love not only designing sophisticated AI systems but also making them reliably productive in complex environments?
• Do you want to help companies in the DACH region use AI at scale, securely and effectively?
• Design and implement AI architectures in Azure, hybrid, and on‑prem environments
• Select, integrate and evaluate models, tools and frameworks (e.g., LLMs, RAG, embeddings, transformers)
• Build and evolve MLOps pipelines including CI/CD, deployment, monitoring and lifecycle management
• Operate container infrastructures (Docker, Kubernetes) and automate via Infrastructure-as-Code
• Integrate AI solutions into existing enterprise architectures (APIs, microservices, data platforms)
• Scale, performance and cost optimization for production AI systems
• Participate in pre-sales, workshops and customer presentations
• Ensure data protection, security, compliance and ethical standards in AI projects
• Rapid prototyping of new AI approaches and active contribution to our technology radar

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or a related field
• Several years of experience in AI/ML projects and in architecture roles
• Knowledge of Azure (Azure ML, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, etc.)
• Experience with hybrid / on‑prem solutions (private cloud, local infrastructure)
• Proficiency in Python and common ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face)
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings and prompt engineering
• Confident in using Docker, Kubernetes and infrastructure automation
• Experience with data pipelines, databases and big‑data technologies
• Routine in MLOps, model deployment, monitoring and versioning
• Very good German language skills (written and spoken) and residence in Germany
• Experience in distributed remote teams and working in a self‑organized way
