Responsibilities
Prepare monthly schedules and accounting entries
Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations
Assist with short-term cash flow forecasts
Monitor daily cash balances and cash position reports
Initiate wire transfers and ACH payments
Provide reporting on liquidity, investments, and debt
Assist with annual and interim audit requests
Support tracking of fixed assets, prepaids, and amortization accounts
Support for payroll processing
Prepare grant cash, staff allocation, and revenue entries
Assist with the implementation and analysis of new and existing Accounting Guidance
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
8 years of overall professional experience
6 years of progressively responsible Accounting experience
Knowledge of GAAP compliance and financial statement preparation
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Strong conflict resolution, time management, attention to detail
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Must live within a commutable distance to Herndon, VA
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
