Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
Reconciliation and maintenance of accounts, including accrual and deferral entries
Executing payment runs, posting the related accounts and supporting monthly liquidity planning
Monthly VAT pre-declarations and annual VAT reporting, including reconciliation checks
Preparing documentation for tax advisors and supporting tax audits
Supporting the development of internal projects and digitalization processes in financial accounting
DATEV expert for the accounting team and responsible for fixed-asset accounting
Requirements
Successfully completed vocational training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellter) or commercial training with further qualification as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or an equivalent qualification, plus at least 2–3 years of professional experience in finance and accounting — preferably in an agency or service company
Excellent DATEV knowledge and confident use of common MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word
Independent, precise and structured working approach
Enjoy contributing to process and accounting workflow optimizations
Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken, and willingness to travel occasionally
