Responsibilities
General accounting for international subsidiaries
Independently manage the accounting for multiple international subsidiaries in close collaboration with local accounting firms
Supervise monthly closings and the recording of accounting provisions (cut-off, provisions, reconciliations)
Prepare annual financial statements in collaboration with local accounting firms
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders (various departments) and external parties (accounting firms and auditors) on accounting matters related to the international entities under your responsibility
Monitor entities’ cash management (bank reconciliations, cash flow tracking and participation in cash forecasts)
Ensure correct analytical allocation of entries in coordination with the FP&A team
Prepare VAT returns and other periodic tax filings
Ensure each subsidiary’s tax compliance in accordance with local regulations
Contribute to the optimization and automation of accounting processes
Participate in improving the Finance team’s tools and practices
Requirements
Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience
A mixed background (accounting firm and in-house corporate experience) is preferred
Experience in an international environment is a strong plus
DSCG or Master CCA (Master’s in Accounting, Control and Audit)
Strong knowledge of closing cycles (monthly and annual), including provisions, cut-off and reconciliations
Good knowledge of taxation (VAT, routine tax filings) and an understanding of accounting issues in an international environment
Strong problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail
Autonomy, team spirit and the ability to prioritize workload
French and English are required for this international role
Knowledge of NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus
