About the role
- Senior Accountant in Finance team managing general ledger activities and monthly closings. Collaborating on purchase requisition reviews and reconciliations in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily activities related to the review and approval of purchase requisitions and invoices
- Perform general ledger functions including amortization for prepaids, leases, intangibles, various accruals
- Execute monthly accounting close activities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations and account flux analysis specific to your areas
- Partner with facilities and technical accounting team on managing lease in Costar and record lease entries accordance with ASC 842
- Assist management on audit request and responses to inquiries from internal and external auditors
Requirements
- BS or BA in Accounting or related field preferred
- 4+ years of progressive general ledger accounting experience
- Strong experience and knowledge in US GAAP and SOX internal controls
- Experience with Oracle Fusion/Blackline/Coupa/Costar a plus
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Familiarity or interest in leveraging AI tools or technologies in accounting workflows
