About the role

  • Manage assigned clients, ensuring that a high level of customer retention and satisfaction is maintained.
  • Engage with customers on a daily basis by reaching out to new clients, and by developing campaigns for maintaining customer loyalty.
  • Manage the end-to-end renewal process for assigned clients in partnership with the Benefits Consultant and/or Producer.
  • Marketing, analysis, and presentation for small group renewals.
  • Evaluate client challenges and deliver effective timely solutions that align with client goals and expectations.
  • Understands employee benefits, including plan designs, products, cross-selling opportunities, legislation, compliance, emerging trends and stay proactive through self-education.
  • Participate in sales opportunities and promote the agency through networking, referrals, and client interactions.
  • Contribute to team collaboration by offering support, sharing knowledge, and promoting a positive and productive environment.
  • Attend and engage in external training sessions, carrier forums, compliance workshops, and vendor meetings to maintain knowledge and professional credentials.

Requirements

  • Previous Employee benefits Account Management experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Professional designation preferred
  • Deadline and detail oriented with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Internet navigation and research; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid Maryland Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License (Required)
