Sales Executive responsible for driving new business development and strengthening customer partnerships in commercial roofing. Collaborating with internal teams to provide solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new commercial roofing and construction opportunities through direct outreach, referrals, and market research
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools and proactive follow-up
Prepare and deliver professional proposals, bids, and presentations tailored to client needs
Build and nurture relationships with building owners, property managers, developers, consultants, and general contractors
Achieve and exceed annual sales targets through disciplined planning and execution
Develop long-term partnerships to drive repeat business and client satisfaction
Conduct regular site visits with Technical Representative or Operations personnel to assess client needs and present technical solutions
Collaborate with estimating and operations teams to ensure accuracy in project scope, pricing, and delivery
Manage customer expectations and maintain proactive communication throughout each project
Partner with Technical Representative and Operations to provide clients with comprehensive roofing solutions
Participate in job walks, site meetings, and client presentations alongside technical experts
Work with local divisions to align market strategies and share insights
Support marketing efforts by providing input on customer trends, case studies, and success stories
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
3–5 years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably within commercial construction, roofing, or building envelope systems
Demonstrated ability to prospect, close new business, and grow customer accounts
Strong understanding of the commercial construction process and project lifecycle
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Experience using CRM tools and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Willingness to travel locally and regionally for client meetings, site visits, and events
