About the role
- Retirement Plans Consultant managing corporate client retirement plan accounts. Conducting enrollment meetings and educating employees about their retirement plans while maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Services corporate client retirement plan accounts on an ongoing basis
- Responsible for a dedicated list of clients as point-of-contact
- Manages and schedules all client deliverables
- Conducts employee enrollment meetings and ongoing education
- Completes and presents Annual Fiduciary Reviews to Plan Trustees
- Interfaces with financial advisors to provide ongoing services
- Consults with plan sponsors on retirement plan design
- Maintains client files on Baird network
- Performs special projects and assignments as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 5 to 7 years’ industry experience
- SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required within 12 months of hire
- AIF and/or CPFA accreditation preferred
- Understanding of retirement plan rules and regulations
- Knowledge of different retirement plan products
- Strong computational mathematical and analytical skills
- Strong technical writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Personal computer skills must include e-mail, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
