Responsibilities
Elicit, map and document requirements (functional and non-functional) through interviews, workshops and interactive sessions with stakeholders and end users.
Act as a bridge between the business and development teams, ensuring understanding, alignment and clarity of requirements.
Create and maintain specifications (user stories, use cases, flows/BPMN, business rules, prototypes).
Support backlog refinement in agile teams, detailing items and clarifying the team's questions.
Validate deliveries with clients (internal/external) and support QA/testing in verifying acceptance criteria.
Perform impact analysis of changes and propose viable solutions for the business.
Model processes (AS-IS/TO-BE) using BPMN, diagrams and use cases.
Participate in agile ceremonies (daily, planning, review, retrospective), when applicable.
Ensure versioning, traceability and updating of requirements throughout the lifecycle.
Contribute to continuous improvement of requirement elicitation and documentation processes within the software factory.
Requirements
University degree completed or in progress in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields.
Experience in elicitation, analysis and specification (functional and non-functional) and in writing/validating user stories.
Proficiency in use cases, UML (diagrams, flows), business rules and basic prototyping.
Knowledge of Scrum and Kanban, with hands-on experience in backlog refinement.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Confluence (and, when applicable, ServiceNow).
Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate meetings with technical and business stakeholders.
Basic knowledge of databases and programming logic.
Knowledge of business process modeling (BPMN) and system modeling (use cases, sequence diagrams).
Experience analyzing legacy systems and mapping integrations (APIs, distributed environments/microservices).
Ability to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders, especially in environments with multiple actors and decision-making levels.
Prior experience on public sector projects and an understanding of administrative processes applicable to the public sector is desirable.
