Responsibilities
Take responsibility for the financial accounting of the companies in the DACH region as well as in Southern and Eastern Europe.
Lead and develop the "Accounting & Tax" team.
Coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS and local accounting standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for management, auditors and tax advisors.
Design processes and controls within accounting and financial reporting.
Drive internationalization and implement global standards in the region.
Bring M&A expertise to projects and take responsibility for accounting and tax implementation.
Support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA as the ERP solution.
Requirements
University degree—ideally in business, finance or accounting.
A qualification as a tax advisor or auditor would be a plus but is not required.
Experience successfully leading (part of) projects.
Solid project management skills.
Strong knowledge of HGB and IFRS.
Leadership personality with team spirit, empathy and a confident presence.
Proficient with MS Office and enthusiastic about trying new digital finance tools.
Fluent in German and English—both written and spoken.
Residence in or near Nuremberg and willingness to be regularly on-site.
