About the role

  • Quality Assurance Officer assessing training providers and their delivery for IOSH. Ensuring compliance with established criteria and improving overall Quality Framework.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assessment and quality assurance of our training providers, and the training they deliver, in accordance with established criteria and national standards.
  • Assessing our IOSH direct delivery courses, undertaking specific quality checks, and providing constructive feedback, in the form of written reports, but on occasion, verbally to aid understanding.
  • Shape the delivery of our services to our end users as well as enhancing and improving our Quality Framework.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of assessment, training and auditing principles
  • To have pragmatic & solution focussed problem-solving skills to find innovative solutions where appropriate and the courage and ability to challenge practices where necessary by alerting your manager.
  • Able to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders and staff.
  • Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment or Equivalent or Level 3 qualification in Education and Training or Equivalent
  • Level 3 Health and Safety Qualification or Equivalent
