About the role
- Quality Assurance Engineer ensuring Voi's vehicles, batteries, and IoT systems meet high quality and safety standards. Collaborating with suppliers and driving improvements in processes across the fleet.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in ensuring that our vehicles, batteries, and IoT systems meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Combine hands-on problem-solving with strategic supplier collaboration to drive continuous improvements in our fleet and production processes.
- Identify quality issues, determining root causes, and developing effective mitigation and resolution actions with suppliers both during production and in the aftermarket.
- Travel to Voi markets and supplier sites to work hands-on, understand challenges, and flag critical issues to Voi management.
- Drive supplier quality improvements by building strong relationships and implementing initiatives that raise performance standards.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, ideally mechanical or electrical.
- Proven experience working with suppliers, preferably in China or other international markets.
- Extensive experience in quality assurance, including leading root cause analyses of in-field issues, production problems, and driving quality process improvements.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset; proficiency in SQL is a strong plus.
- Excellent collaboration skills across diverse teams and functions.
