About the role
- Quality Assurance Analyst monitoring auditing activities within M&T Bank to ensure compliance and recommend improvements. Providing training and guidance to less experienced personnel.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and/or complete audits of activities of a complex nature within an assigned area of the Bank to ensure adherence to internal policies and processes and external regulations.
- Identify issues of non-compliance and communicate to appropriate parties as well as the individual employee as warranted to prevent future recurrence.
- Maintain records of discovered deficiencies.
- Complete regular reporting on these activities.
- Identify trends in the data and recommend changes in policies and processes to address these.
- Provide guidance and training to less experienced personnel.
Requirements
- Associates' degree and a minimum of 2 years' work experience in the area supported, or in lieu of a degree a combined minimum of 4 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years' work experience in the area supported
- Strong analytical skills

- Proficiency with pertinent spreadsheet, word processing, database and presentation software
