Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of GCP-based infrastructure.
- Support incidents through an out-of-hours rota.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Harness and Jenkins.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
- Implement security guidelines and access controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Engage in Agile team ceremonies and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Extensive DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience.
- Strong CI/CD pipeline design and implementation skills.
- Experience with Windows & Linux VM base images.
- Proficiency in configuration management tools (e.g., Chef).
- Programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, Ruby, or Bash.
- Ownership of projects and successful delivery.
- Skilled in writing and managing IaC with Terraform.
- Experience in managing the full product lifecycle of compute services.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- Hands-on experience with GCP and Microsoft Azure (useful).
- Proficiency in writing modular and reusable IaC with Terraform (useful).
- Knowledge of Cloud Security, KMS, PKI, and encryption (useful).
- Deep understanding of Windows or Linux OS (useful).
- Strong security mentality (useful).
- Experience with monitoring tools and techniques (useful).
