- Project Manager responsible for managing construction projects from initiation to completion at Buttcon. Leading teams, ensuring compliance, and maintaining budgets in the ICI construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Work directly with clients and various departments to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.
- Lead project teams for multiple projects while managing all aspects of the project life cycle.
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Create and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with owners, architects, consultants, trades & public.
- Ensure compliance with Buttcon’s Health and Safety Program.
- Supervise, mentor, coach, and train project personnel.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and generate detailed progress reports.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil/Architectural Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the ICI construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction, estimating, budgeting, scheduling, cost control, contract administration, technology, equipment, means and methods and general industry practices.
- Strong understanding and adherence to safety standards.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Experience with Procore, BIM, Primavera P6, and Axis Accounting Software is an asset.
- LEED, Net Zero, WELL, or Passive House accreditation is an asset.
- Gold Seal Certification is an asset.
